Re: July 19 Transactions
The Cincinnati Reds have made a pair of player moves impacting their Double-A affiliate Carolina Mudcats prior to tonight's game against the Jacksonville Suns.
OF Felix Perez has been placed on the seven-day disabled list with an oblique injury suffered last night making a spectacular running catch in right-centerfield. Perez crashed against the wall just following the catch to rob John Otness of an extra base hit. Meanwhile, IF Eric Eymann has been activated from the disabled list and will take the roster spot of Perez. Eymann has been on the DL since July 17th with a right thumb sprain. ACTIVATE: IF Eymann, Eric (From DL) DISABLE: OF Perez, Felix (To DL, Oblique) |
