Billings hangs on, 7-6. A nice save for Daniel Wolford: 2 IP, 0 H, 1 BB, 4 K. Drew Hayes also pitched 1.2 scoreless innings in relief of Clayton Shunick.

Re: Monday, July 26, 2010, Minor League Updates
Guillon hit a wall in the fifth, giving up four two-out runs. He's out of the game after striking out 10 in 4.2 innings. The Reds have outhit the Brewers 7-3, but trail 4-2.

Re: Monday, July 26, 2010, Minor League Updates
Billings continues to be the most aggressive team on the basepaths in the entire league. They won 8-7 thanks to some clutch hitting and a couple of great relief efforts. Chris Berset is 6-for-14 over a five-game hitting streak.

Regardless of that last inning, Guillon has been impressive this season: 3.15 ERA, 0 HR, 12 BB/41 K in 34.1 innings. 3.17 BB/9 and 10.82 K/9.

I think it's time to promote Joseph. He should be in AA already.

Re: Monday, July 26, 2010, Minor League Updates
Homer looked pretty good in those first 3 innings, but looked like his control wasn't as sharp in the 4th. Still, pretty solid for his first rehab start.
Shelby Miller, pretty darn good. Kinda hard to tell though, since the Dragons' lineup is awfully pathetic right now. I don't recall Miller going to a 3 ball count on a single batter all night. Also, don't know if it's been mentioned...but the Dragons' Play Ball program has an article with quotes from some Doug Gray character. Whoever that is.

How the internet changed the way fans can follow the minor leagues. Some Doug Gray Character (SDGC for short), claimed that fans can then discuss and argue about them on the internet.

Gotcha. When we did that a few weeks ago it was supposed to be aired on the radio in a pregame piece. Not sure if it ever did or not.
