Congratulations to Bryan Bullington!

Bryan Bullington tossed eight shutout innings in the Royals' 1-0 win over the Yankees. The right-hander gave up just two hits, walked one and struck out five. Those that had August 15, 2010 in the Bullington "win" pool, it's time to collect. The former first overall pick has been a colossal bust and is in his fourth organization. He's now pitched 60 innings at the major league level and can finally be called a winner for the first time. Bullington was supposed to only be filling in for Brian Bannister for a couple starts, but this outing, along with a solid start last week, might have earned him some more starts. He may or may not face the White Sox this weekend. |
