I'll confess, I run an open no-password router. Between me and my kids having friends over and jumping on our internet and screwing around with passphrases and trying to deal with VPN issues from work (and the network manager not having time to deal with it), I just leave it open. You want on my router, OK. In my neighborhood there is about 10 of them within a quarter mile. Take your pick.
I lock my PC down rock solid and if I do any financial stuff, I do it from my wired-in PC.
