Bats can take the lead in the IL West tonight.

I hope Sappelt does well at Louisville. He was a huge part of the offense here. Another reason to hope Louisville comes through Durham one more time this year.

Saturday is Chris Valaika's birthday, and Wednesday is Sean Henry's birthday. They will all be turning the same age. Yorman Rodriguez becomes an adult on Sunday.

Mudcats own 3-0 in 1st. Webb gave up bloop double and a walk, With 2 out a line drive blast to CF scores 2, Perez got turned around twice as it went. Not well played. Then another solid double.
