Homer helping Reds maintain recent momentum

MLB.com headline... I object to the word "recent".

Not sure I see the problem. They just got swept at home 3 games ago.

I know St. Louis is the only series they've lost since the break. They're like 10-1-1 now or something like that.

Someone was harping in yesterdays game thread early on that all this "platooning" was really hurting the Reds. When I asked the poster to tell me when the Reds had played better all season he never returned.

The Cards series has jaded perception of how Cincy is doing...they are playing their best baseball since the break.

If good Homer is back, watch out.

This could be a whole bunch of fun

Volquez, Arroyo, Cueto, Bailey, Wood

Not even including Arroyo, Leake or Chapman. The will be some very interesting decisions to make over the Winter.

Yup, and they were still tied for first place.
