Trashy story. Hopefully he realizes his mistake, and that he was lucky not to have hurt anyone.

They should start drinking before the games. That might liven up the most boring announcers in all of baseball. Those guys make Paul Keels look like a speed freak.

I guess Tony didn't want to be the Designated Driver.

He isn't announcing this weekend, probably because of the DUI.

This guy took the fall. Carpenter was probably the real driver, but slipped out when the cops weren't looking.

i heard that when he got pulled over the cop was actually gonna let him go! But right before the cop pulled away carpenter came out of the bushes and started screaming obsentitys(sp) at the cop. All hell proceded to break loose, the broadcastor got arrested and charged with DUI. carpenter was not punished for the incident.

A couple radio djs around here (STL) thought it was interesting the story just broke considering when it happened. Not cool. Not cool with TLR, Freese, etc.......... Not to mention Josh Hancock.

Well, watching this Cards team play and their ineptness at scoring a simple run with the bases loaded will cause you to heavily drink if you are a Cards fan. I had a couple of shots tonight of the good ole Grey Goose.

Re: Cards announcer gets DUI after celebrating Feliz trade

Never will understand why anyone thinks this is funny. It was stupid and reckless. He should be at best, suspended. He has four YOUNG kids at home. He could have killed someone or himself, leaving those children without a father.

btw, while I'm sure all of the Reds players and broadcaster are saints and do no wrong, I hope they stay that way because drinking and driving is not funny.
