Re: Reds at Giants 8-23
If we can get through tonight with Bray throwing the 7th and Logan the 8th I'll be pleased considering where we were back in the 1st.
It would probably put Leake in an awkward spot in one of the next couple of games, but at least the last three would be fresh. |

We've hit quite a few balls hard tonight that just didn't drop or find a hole.

This is why I love baseball, despite tonight we still have a chance to win the series.

Re: Reds at Giants 8-23
WTH? I leave the house, it's bottom 1st, things look OK. I pull into the movie theater, somehow manage to get WLW even in St Louis, and it's 5-0 and Volquez is being yanked? I leave the movie 2 hours later and it's 11-2, and 2 players are hurt? My heart hit the floor when they said the injury to.... and then paused. I was terrified it was Joey.
Did they forget they were playing? West Coast jinx? |

Re: Reds at Giants 8-23
No, they just can't handle the big teams. They can sweep away the teams that are way under .500 and go 2-1 vs. an average LA Dodger team, but when it comes down to it, Cincinnati can't really hang with the big boys.

Hate to say it but Cain dominated us last night.
