Re: What is the Significance of Your Username?

Nux's Nuthole. He may have been the guy that spoofed my username on the cinci.com board.

Dom, please tell me that wasn't you.

Super creative one here: YAB are my initials and is a fun thing to say, 1112 is my birthday, November 12th.

I think if the Reds ever got rid of Homer I'd asked to have it changed much like WMR did.

Not trying to squeeze out personal info here, but I'm really struggling to come up with names that start with "Y".

Yonder, Yorman, Yadier, Yazmin

But it's none of those, it's hebrew and stands for Yehuda Aryeh. I go by Ari though.

TRF, that was not me. At least I don't think so. But I did do some nuxxy stuff.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say there were 4or 5 Nuxies.

Although he made changes to his name a few times, I really think it was all one guy. He was too consistently creative to have been more than one guy. He was a jerk but very entertaining and creative. I remember he would switch the "p" in my user name with an "h."

Once, after several days of stirring up trouble on the board, he came on apologizing to everyone saying he had been off his medication for days. He had been on the computer for multiple days living on cigarettes and whiskey.
He had no idea what had come over him and he was so sorry.

We all bought his story and offered our support and acceptance. It wasn't long before he was back to his old ways and mocking our sympathetic gestures. He had a way of digging at us, but he wasn't your typical troll.

Does anyone remember Cameron Fan? He was not enjoyable.

Met 'Mike' a couple of times. Actually a very nice guy that lived about a mile from me. Very smart as well. He's been on this board under several different names---still is for all I know.

Used to be a ton of "Team (player)" on the board... Selig was really hated at the time so I went with him as a joke.

Ick. Thought I'd been able to completely get rid of that in the old brain pan.

Re: What is the Significance of Your Username?

1996 through 2005 represented 10 years (120 months) with no reds in the post season. I joined in July of 2006 making that season 3 months in. So mth123 stands for month 123 of no Red's success...

...That would almost be interesting if it was true. MTH = initials and 123 was because I assumed there was already an MTH

Re: What is the Significance of Your Username?

44 is the best baseball number of all time.

Hank Aaron
Reggie Jackson
Eric Davis
Adam Dunn

Just to name a few.

I'm always looking for the "next 44"

Re: What is the Significance of Your Username?

That would be an interesting discussion, Next44. Best # of all time. Off the top of my head , #5 was/is worn by Johnny Bench and Albert Pujols; that's a darn good start.
