Re: Any AFL info

You saw the same thing I did and probably did the same thing I did (look for Reds news about it) but no dice.
I have asked a couple guys last week but they hadn't heard anything. If the boys were in town I could find out but they won't be back until Friday and I am sure it'll be announced by then.

Re: Any AFL info

I am curious as to why Avery is getting a look see vs Carroll, Webb or Fairel?

Re: Any AFL info

With Negron getting a AFl invite, that betters his chance as being protected on the 40. I like it.
As for Avery, because of all the time missed with TJ.

Re: Any AFL info

I thought you could only go once. The one that shocks me is no Frazier

Re: Any AFL info

I don't see any rule on only being able to go once. And very true about Frazier. Maybe he's going somewhere else for winter ball.

Re: Any AFL info

Valiquette did not go last year due to an injury that also kept him from going to the World Championship

Valiquette went to the Hawaiian League.

As for Carroll, my brother's heard that they may not send him because of the number of innings he's thrown this year (which was his first full year in the minors without injury).

Re: Any AFL info

Do we project TBA to do well in the league?

Just kidding, but seriously who takes the last spot? I would have liked to see Frazier.

Re: Any AFL info

They don't like to send starters there. I bet the missing guy turns out to be a reliever
