Re: NLDS Game 2 Reds vs. Philly

The Phillies have six runs and their offense is total slop tonight.

I'm gonna come out and say it right now, we can still win this series even if we lose tonight.

The reds are very jittery. Maybe they have to be completely out of it (down 2-0) before they can relax? If so, they CAN still win

BTW... did the commentators even mention that Utley wasn't hit or that he didn't touch the base? If they did, I must have been out of the room... and I don't think I've left!

I appreciate everything Rolen has done for the team but it looks like something is wrong with him physically right now.

I don't think so but it took the commentators last night 3 innings to figure out that Posey had been thrown out at 2nd when he was called safe.

They actually said it wasn't a Derek Jeter play, so they must have believed he was hit.

All of Chapman's runs were unearned.

Who dissed Rolen? A couple of people have stated the obvious. He seems to have worn down the longer the year has gone. Looks to me like he's hurting. No one has a reason to question his effort.

Seriously, Gomes or OC need to catch some flak. Just to get this place regular again.

Re: NLDS Game 2 Reds vs. Philly

Too much gloom and doom on this thread.

Reds aren't yet a World Series team.

Be happy they are in the playoffs and don't fret too much over this.

Walt should continue to build the team and they will soon be able to go deep in the playoffs.
