Agreed. If there are enough complaints about a poster and their schtick is getting old, then it's time to boot that person. IMO, ignoring someone just makes you looking snobbish.

I will never put anybody on my ignore list b/c everybody has the right to have their own opinions and I can respect that.I enjoy talking to everybody on here and I hope they feel the same way about me.I hope im not on nobodys ignore list!!

I tried it once on another board, but either someone else would quote the post so I'd wind up seeing it anyway, or someone would respond to it without quoting it so I'd wind up curious about what it said.

Never thought I'd need it until this year. Then I'd see the poster's comments quoted by another post and say, "yep, still worth it." I'm really open minded too, I just knew it wasn't worth my time (personal attacks, strange moral bent, no filter before hitting "reply", etc.)

How does reading threads work for you guys who ignore people...I've never really considered it, but always thought it would put strange gaps in threads.
