Not entirely. I am saying that a players floor is generally what they are today, because until they prove otherwise, that is what they are. When it comes to projecting minor leaguers floor, its generally a very low floor because they are still in the minor leagues for a reason. The range of player between a floor and a ceiling tends to get smaller as guys move up, but when you are talking about a guy with no experience really the amount of scenarios of what he could are nearly limitless. If he becomes Elizardo Ramirez, its likely a good situation because he could also never make it to AA.
