Alex Meyer
Right now he seems to be considered a late 1st to late 2nd round choice. Has had some injury and consistency issues his first two seasons at UK. He's 6-9/220 with a fastball in the mid-90s that approaches 100.
Has 143 K's in 110.2 innings. YouTube - Alex Meyer of the Kentucky Wildcats Last edited by corkedbat; 01-08-2011 at 01:54 AM. |

From the UK website, he had mononucleosis last year which caused him to miss a portion of the season. He was a 20th round pick by the Red Sox coming out of Greensburg High School in 2008. He'll definitely be someone on the Reds radar with the #24 overall pick. |
