Re: Herschel Walker Anyone?
My head hurts thinking that people are buying into this...
We are talking about a guy who ran for 1600 yards for UGA...in 1980. |

Re: Herschel Walker Anyone?
Not sure if he could still play, but he's done an excellent job getting publicity for his MMA fight.

Re: Herschel Walker Anyone?
For the record he was on Dan Patrick yesterday morning and said he has zero interest in playing in the NFL. Basically a reporter asked him if he thought he could play and he said that he thought he was in good enough shape that he could probably help a team. But he's not actively attempting a come back or anything.

Re: Herschel Walker Anyone?
Well here he is from his debut MMA fight. Says it was jan 2010. Looks in shape to say the least.

Re: Herschel Walker Anyone?
Interesting timing in posting that - he had his second career fight last night, still in great shape, and a first round win there as well. Herschel's the real deal. There is nothing to "buy" here to address the post a few spots up there... Walker didn't say he WANTS to return to the NFL, just when asked about how good shape he was in, he mentioned that he could conceivably help a team out even at his age and shape now. That's it.

Re: Herschel Walker Anyone?
I am sure he would be an upgrade at kick returner for the Colts.
