How Will Chris Carpenter Explain This to His Son

I figured we could use this thread for things that need to be explained to Chris Carpenter's son. First, I'll throw in some stats since we're mostly a SABR-friendly crowd.
Since August 14th, 2010, I have counted 39 different threads with references to 'How will Chris Carpenter explain this to his son?'

Breakdown by month:

The longest it took for the reference to pop up was on August 31st, when CarolinaRedleg asked the question in the 739th post of a thread. On the other side, Brutus the Pimp asked the question with the second post in a thread on January 9th. On average, it's the 60th post in a thread in which Carpenter needs to explain something to his son.

Vottomatic is currently in the lead for bringing up Chris Carpenter and his son with five mentions. Second place goes to CarolinaRedleg at four times, and third place belongs to Chip R, who has done it thrice.

Okay, now back to my motivation for starting this thread. What do we, as members of RedsZone, feel Chris Carpenter's son needs to have explained to him? I'll start . . .
There is a decent chance that Pujols won't be around next year, which would make the Cardinals irrelevant in the race for the NL Central in 2012 and beyond.

Someone should tell his son that Carpenter won The Sporting News' Comeback Player of the Year Award twice. You know what that means? Carpenter has had at least two bad years as a professional baseball player, and that's not including the year he led the AL in earned runs allowed.
