Rental Property Software
Looking to buy my first rental property in next couple months. Curious what software people are using to track their rental.
For example, if you put new carpet in to spruce the place up, it's not an expense for that year but rather depreciated (and I think it adds to your cost basis for the home). I'm a Quicken User so my first reaction is to spring for Quicken Rental Property Manager. It's getting some bad reviews based on the fact they changed their data format and you couldn't import your old stuff, but that shouldn't affect me. But I also don't know how good it is. Anybody a landlord? What are you using? |
