Re: 2-27 Reds vs Indians

Carlos Fisher having a rough go of it as a hit & run puts runners at the corners for the Indians with two outs in the bottom of the sixth.

Ah ha! Everett left 3rd too soon on a sac fly to third and the Reds escape the sixth by only giving up one run. With the way Fisher was pitching, that's gotta be seen as a miracle.

Frasier with a two out double over the CF head, but Heisey flies out and it's seventh inning stretch time.

Chad Huffman leads off for the Indians with a double. Our pitching isn't holding up too well in these late innings.

and now a walk to Phelps. Marty's rant against having the World Series in November is hilarious.

and walk #2 to Hannahan. Donnie Joseph has just loaded the bases and there are zero outs on the scoreboard.

All the runners tag on a Head sac fly to left and the Indians go up 2-1. Joseph can't hit the strike zone today.

And it doesn't take long for Lonnie Chisenhall to belt a double over the head of Heisey and the Indians score two to go up 4-1.

Re: 2-27 Reds vs Indians

Well Joseph has killed us. Ezequiel Carrera belts a two run HR, Indians up 6-1, and we're FINALLY getting a pitching change.

Re: 2-27 Reds vs Indians

I hope that's not the case, but Fisher and Joseph were god awful today. Just saw in the other game thread that Joseph's ERA is 135.00, LOL.

Well Daryl Thompson comes in and after he walks Everett, he gets Apodaca to fly out to right and strikes out Goedert to end this abomination of an inning.

Re: 2-27 Reds vs Indians

After Hermida walks, Zach Cozart knocks one to the left field wall to put runners at 2nd and 3rd and then Corky Miller hits a sac fly to center to give us a 6-2 ball game.

With two outs, Dave Sappelt hits a two run HR and that makes it 6-4.
