Rate this team?
Standard 5x5 roto league, just did it for fun tonight to pass some time, but ended up with what I feel like is a team worth paying attention to.
C: Victor Martinez 1B: Joey Votto 2B: Dan Uggla SS: Starlin Castro 3B: Neil Walker OF: Delmon Young OF: Austin Jackson OF: Luke Scott Util: Prince Fielder Util: Kendrys Morales Bn: Freddie Freeman Bn: David Freese SP: Jered Weaver SP: Matt Latos RP: Koji Uehara RP: Chris Sale P: Dan Haren P: Jonathan Sanchez P: Tim Hudson P: Brett Myers Bn: Johan Santana Bn: Johnny Cueto Bn: Homer Bailey No real closers, but I could trade SP depth for that. No great speed threats, but who cares that team should dominate everywhere else |

I can't help seeing your lack of power in the outfield and 3B.
Those 4 players will probably give you combined line of: 270AVG, 66 HR, 295 RBI. Also your ST pitching depth is more of waiver wire potential. Bailey, Santana and Uehara should have already been on the waiver wire now and pitchers like Myers, Tim Hudson are fringe. I'm sorry man, but I see your team being no better than 8th best in a 12 team league. |

i disagree. Freese will hit 20HR's this year. I'd lose Morales and Santana though. Neither will be a factor this year. some sucker will bite on both, especially Morales who may only miss a month, but I doubt his numbers end up impacting in any real way.

In 304 ML AB Freese has only hit 5 HRs. That's 1HR per 60AB.
I could be wrong I just don't see 20 HR's this year. Next year..maybe. |
