Francisco hits a rocket to second that eats up the second baseman. Ruled an error. But regardless, 7-2.

Razor sac fly plates Bruce, 8-2.

Looking at Gameday & the small player photos....am I the only one who absolutely hates the off-center hat pictures? Phillips the past few years and now Francisco. It's like they're trying to be "gangsta" or some such nonsense. Just one of those little things that bother me I guess. :

Back to the game.

Cubs have released Carlos Silva apparently. Somewhat surprising.
Nyjer Morgan traded to Brewers for minor leaguer (Dykstra's son apparently)
Astros trade for Joe Inglett (Rays). PTBNL & cash

Re: 3-27-11 Reds Vs. D-Ba.... cks

Stubbs grounds out (broken bat) to first...nearly legs it out. 2 for 3 in the leadoff slot.
Renteria (2 for 2) draws the walk
Phillips (2 for 2) scalds one to first, but a diving catch makes it a GIDP

8-2 Reds after 3.

Top of 4th.
Carroll still pitching.

Nady K's swinging
Nice running snag at the wall by Stubbs on the deep drive from Montero
Roberts grounds out to 3rd. 1-2-3.

7 straight sat down by Carroll.

Bottom 4th

Rolen pop out to 2nd
Bruce K's
Gomes K's

Most of the reds bats are rolling along quite well at this point of spring. But Gomes & Rolen are struggling...badly.

With apologies ... How will Dykstra explain this to his father?

Krebs replaces Carroll.

Cooking late lunch, somebody might want to fill in for a bit.
