Carolina is playing an "Education Day" game. Mike Costanzo just hit a grand slam to give the Mudcats an 8-2 lead here in the 4th inning. Jordan Hotchkiss is on the mound.

Tom Cochran is on the mound for Louisville at 6:35.
Lance Janke is on the mound for Bakersfield at 10:00 tonight (EST). Daniel Renken is on the mound for Dayton at 7:00.

Carolina is now up 8-4 in the 5th inning. It has been a rough one for Hotchkiss in the 5th, giving up back to back doubles to lead off the inning.
