Monday 4/25/11 Minor League Updates
Might not mean much, but I find it interesting that Fred Lewis is leading off tonight in his first rehab game with Louisville. Because he wasn't leading off in spring training, which I found odd. Sappelt is hitting third.

Dorn hit a 2-run shot in the second to put the Bats up 2-0 behind Dontrelle.

Re: Monday 4/25/11 Minor League Updates
Two more weeks of Gomes batting less than his weight and we should be seeing either Lewis or Sappelt leading off for the Reds.

Is Dorn the next Nelson Cruz or Roberto Petageine? Discuss.

Re: Monday 4/25/11 Minor League Updates
Sappelt is now hitting .361/1.021 after hitting like .600 in spring.
You know what to do, Walt. |

Re: Monday 4/25/11 Minor League Updates
Juan Duran's 2-run HR has Dayton ahead 3-1 in the eighth. Daniel Corcino had a nice start, with one unearned run and 7 K in five innings.

Re: Monday 4/25/11 Minor League Updates
Toledo wins 6-5.
3 unearned 9th inning runs because of an error by Dorn that should have ended it. |

How about Cody Puckett? Two home runs tonight. Carolina leads 5-4 after five.

Blaine Howell saves it for Dayton, 3-1. Jason Braun and Drew Hayes also provided scoreless work in relief of Corcino. Dragon pitchers fanned 12.
