Considering our Gold Glover 3B, his backup, and HIS backup are all injured, I like the whole "Janish at 3rd" thing*. Who knows, after Rolen retires, putting our best/second best (hi there, BP) infielder at the hot corner may seem like a decent permanent solution.
*That, of course, is ignoring the fact that the lineup is getting shuffled because Renteria "refuses" to play 3B. In a perfect world, you'd slide him over, and let Janish stay at his natural position. If Renteria won't be a team player, at least Janish will...as always. |
