The Reds could improve, yes. But I think we've seen more than enough from Volquez and Gomes to know that they will not.

Hernandez rushed that throw. He had to since EV had allowed that jump.

Agreed. Enough is enough.

If you want to say that Volquez and Gomes are liablities that need to be addressed I'm not gonna jump in.

But labeling Walt with a small market mentality and saying he thinks things will just naturally get better is when I jump in.

It looks like Volquez brought the gas can back out for the 2nd inning.

1st and 3rd with 0 outs after Choo singled in a run to make it 5-1

So seriously...predict the roster move that will be made in 24 hours.

This is really disgusting. LeCure is up throwing in the second inning. Six hits and five runs in two innings. Wow.

The Tribe playing ridiculously over their heads.

Getting all the calls. All the breaks.

I'll enjoy their regression when it happens.

This series and road trip cannot be over soon enough.

Indians now up 5-1. Feels like it's about 10-1.

Status quo, while other teams were trying to improve.
I have no problem with how Walt handled the offseason. It's not even June yet and they're still 3 games over .500 with a loss today, so there's been no reason to panic. The team is still equipped to make a deal or two and I think by waiting, the FO has a clearer picture of exactly what this team's deficiencies are.

Have a little faith.

Not going to happen. I doubt they'll even move EV out of the rotation.

Isn't that pretty much what Walt said though? IIRC his main points were limited budget and a lot of young players who should improve from within. I think he also referenced a return to health from EV as his plan for the top of the rotation.

They will be lucky to be over .500 after this road trip. Especially the way they are playing right now.

Or maybe this is just more of random variance?

Either way, it's too nice of a day to waste it watching this garbage.
