Re: 5-23-11 Reds @ Phillies

I'm starting to think he just doesn't consider the 2-hole important. As in, a step below the 7 and a step above 8. Why else does he constantly want Janish to bunt there when Stubbs is fully capable of stealing against any team in the league?

Personally, I'd like to see Phillips starting 2nd regularly and Bruce batting cleanup. Given how successful putting Bruce in the 2-hole was, I wouldn't consider the lefty-lefty lineup too unreasonable.

Maybe next year I put Bruce 4th but right now I like him 5th, Phillips 4th and put maybe Rolen 2 or even Heisey/Lewis or get crazy and try Hanigan there...

Today, Edinson Volquez must feel like Thor....cast down amongst the mortals due to his pride and vanity.

Niiiice.

I was a Norse myth head, as well...LOL...good lookin' out!

You could also say he had fallen from Valhalla -- the "Hall of the Heroes"...

...but, with five straight losses, maybe it's more like the "House of Zeroes"...LOL...
