Barry Bonds... a nice guy?
Barry Bonds has to be given some props right now. Bonds is going to pay for the education of the kids of the Giants fan who was beaten. Maybe this is Barry's attempt to make amends for what he did while he was playing. At any rate, it is a classy gesture on his part. Here is a link to the article.

It's a grand gesture. However, I heard on NPR this morning that the Stow family is now suing the LA Dodgers for lack of security to pay for the medical bills and "take care" of the two kids. Kind of weak sauce.

Good for Bonds. One of the few things I liked about him was his appreciation for the history of the game. I've heard him make Pete Rose references a couple times on how Pete played the game the right way. The other 90% of the time, I thought he was a butthole.

I don't have a problem either with the family suing the Dodgers. Its valid considering they had a lack of security and that Mr. Stow will probably not be able to earn money for quite some time, if ever.
