Wes Mugarian wishes he played for the Mudcats right about now. Instead, he started for Billings, which trails 8-0 after four.

Re: Sunday, July 10 Minor League Game Thread

Billy Hamilton's three-hit game is the eighth straight game where he has got a hit. In five of those eight games he has had multiple hits. His line is now up to .241/.296/.316. Still not a good line, but it is improving for the year.

While Billy did have a .252 BA in June, he did only take 3 walks so his OBP was still an abysmal .269. July has been much better. Billy has already matched his June walk total and is sporting a .326/.370/.326 line in 43 July ABs. Let's hope more walks come with the hits.

Additionally, Duran's recent surge has been highlighted, now Yorman is starting to hit (up to .249 after yesterday's 2-4). Throw in the addition of Torreyes who I would have like to have seen in Dayton from the season's start and you've got a team that is shaping up to be exceptionally fun to watch thru the 2nd half.
