He did. But, he had a hamstring injury. Didn't sound good though, he had to be helped off the field.

Cozart started the season at .059. Small sample size. Janish will not be release, and will likely have a significant amount of MLB time in his career - though maybe not with the Reds.

My guess is Janish's career path will be similar to Juan Castro or Cesar Izturis. I don't think he ever gets serious playing time for the reds again. And after 2011 I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him in another organization.

But, I still think (due to his defense) he'll see lots more mlb service time. And end up with that awesome MLB pension. 100k a year for life baby.
