Re: 7/29/11 - Giants at Reds
I have no rational reason to believe this, but I have a gut feeling the Reds are going to go on a torrid streak.
After the Mets' series, I don't have the slightest clue why I think that. Just a hunch.

Re: 7/29/11 - Giants at Reds
I can rule out no such diagnosis at this point in time.

Re: 7/29/11 - Giants at Reds
I think the pressure is off now. There was so much frustration, I tend to believe now it's just kind of 'let's roll.'

If they can put together a really good run, they really would be right back in this thing. I feel so naive for still hoping, but I can't help myself. |

Re: 7/29/11 - Giants at Reds
It helps that the Reds still have six games against the Brewers. Go 4-2 and that gets it back in striking distance.

Re: 7/29/11 - Giants at Reds
It's amazing how much faith some of you all have. I wish I had it, I'm scared to death they'll blow this game. The Reds would have to go on some crazy 16-4 run over the next 20 for me to get back involved emotionally.

I'm thinking the same thing. And the Cairo comments will be the launching point.

It might be time to make the Skyline Chili call to the bullpen.

Re: 7/29/11 - Giants at Reds
Two run game, sixth inning, Willis has loaded the bases with nobody out. Dusty showing confidence in the lefty here, leaving him in.

I'll say this Dusty is due for one of these moves to work.
