Tuesday 08/23/11 MiLB Updates
The Reds have promoted Mudcats catcher James Skelton to Triple-A Louisville. Skelton was batting .236 in 49 games for the Mudcats this season with two home runs and 16 RBIs. This is Skelton's first trip to AAA.
Kevin Coddington is back up from Bakersfield to Carolina. |

The AZL Reds, scratching for a wildcard spot, scored 5 in the first. It's 5-1 after three.

It's 12-1 in the fifth behind Joel Bender. Carlos Sanchez, warming up a bit, is 2-3, 4 RBIs.
Brandon Dailey has a .410 OBP. Last edited by mace; 08-23-2011 at 03:54 PM. |

Matt Lentz, the UK football player and tryout-camp graduate, produced a double and triple today as the AZL Reds won 14-6.
