Just back from the Bats game. Francisco continues to rake and Mesoraco was flat out unconscious tonight. Devin's 2nd HR tonight went 471 feet, the 6th longest in Louisville Slugger Field history. Quite a towering majestic shot too, if I may say so.

Anyone remember Ramon Sambo?

Quote:
Hamilton collected four singles and also stole two bases, giving him nine steals in his last four games. He has 91 stolen bases on the season, most in professional baseball since 2001 and tied for the 16th highest total in Minor League Baseball history. Hamilton is seven stolen bases short of the all-time Cincinnati Reds organizational record set at 98 by Ramon Sambo of Cedar Rapids in 1988.

No, but if he flipped the first letters of his name around, we'd all have a cedar rapids "Rambo" jersey hanging in the closet.

I looked him up, he was a 25 year old in his 7th minor league season and still playing A ball. Let's hope Hamilton works out a tad better.
