Hazing, Baseball style takes a new turn and hits a new azimuth.

Last year, Nats rookies were forced to dress as Smurfs. Strasburg was Papa Smurf. This year: Olympians. Gymnasts at that. Amazing. Bryce Harper holding the USA flag proudly. Nats rookies en route to New York. Call 'em the GymNats?

Re: Rookie Hazing - Nationals

I only remember one year seeing a picture of Reds hazing and I want to say Luke Hudson was in it so that tells you how long ago it has been.

I love seeing stuff like this and hope to see more hazing pictures!

Re: Rookie Hazing - Nationals

I hear they hazed Strasburg by making him quit pitching for the rest of the year. Now that's hilarious!

Man, if you let your team do that stuff in high school anymore, you get fired. Probably jail time as well.

You've been reading from the Tobias Funke book again, haven't you.

Re: Rookie Hazing - Nationals

The Reds rookies hazing requires them to not be able to hit with men in scoring position.

I don't think the Fierce Five would be laughing very much if they saw that picture, LOL
