I cannot stand this pitcher for the Cubs. He does not throw strikes...throws garbage basically...but even a smart hitter like Alonso is fooled on what was ball 6., I guess I should be mad at the Reds hitters for not figuring this guy out by now.

After 4 innings, Cubs 4, Reds 2.
Bailey at 79 pitches, 50 strikes. Wells at 62 pitches, 36 strikes. Cubs runs from 2 run HRs by Pena and Byrd in the 1st. Reds runs from solo HRs from Phillips and Heisey.

BTW, score is tied, sacks are jammed. Don't know how the 3rd run scored, but Alonso walked to force in the tying run. Heisey up after a pitching change, one down. Notre Dame player with long name pitching.
