I don't see why so many people think Jocketty is a God. Tavares, Patterson, Gomes, etc. Those were not good signings.
Reds won the weakest baseball division last year and then sucked in the playoffs. I'm not a Dusty fan and I'm not sold on Jocketty either.

Why not? The Cubs have a lot more to spend than the Reds. They could be pretty competitive in the NL Central with a few moves and signings. I would imagine the Cubs job would be attractive to a lot of GMs.
