Homer Bailey (R) P v. Bud Norris Q's Can Votto get to 30 hr's? Can Phillips get to 20 hr's or .800 ops? Can Bruce or Votto get to 100 rbi's/ Can Stubbs get to 40 sb's? Can Reds get to 80 wins? Young guys providing the offense.
That HR from Mesoraco was startling -- plus fastball up and in and he turns on it. I don't think I've been as surprised by a home run based on the pitch as by that one, all year. You're talking elite ability to turn on a pitch.

Homer with another hit. Now 3-3. Average up to .297
Reds lead 5-2 in the bottom of the 6th. Bailey with 106 pitches on the night. Hopefully that is it for the evening. |
