Weak NL Cenral?

Funny how all the experts were talking abou how terrible the NL Central was the first half of the season, saying 85 games may win it, and teams would hang around just because no one in it is good. Now it's an all NL Central NLCS. Go Brewers.

Those two Central NLCS contenders made moves to improve at the trade deadline. How does STL do tonight w/o Furcal?

So you think Furcal was a better deadline pickup than Hunter Pence?

Come on, they took flyers on veteren fluff nobody wants. How will they do with Furcal next year? Get the point.

The Reds were a never been. They couldn't improve a sub-500 team to make it passable by the end of the year. If the Reds you know, could have handled being above 500 like the Cardinals, you know, maybe the fiscal expense would have been worth it. Instead, they were basically shopping for next year in July.

Why people are "amazed" that the Cardinals beat the Phillies, is beyond me. They are a creature of the time. The wild card always gets the advantage in these series. Shows how weak the Rays were. Build in more advantages for the favorite as they deserve and they will win more.
