So the rumor floating around is that the Reds may be interested in closer Andrew Bailey. At first thought, I was all for it but now that I think about it, I don't know if it'll be worth it. Bailey is still under team control until 2014. The Reds, in my opinion, only need a closer for this year before Brad Boxberger is ready. Trading two or three good prospects for only needing Bailey for a year seems kinda pointless to me when we could trade those same prospects for something we could use long term, a starter. Now, Gio Gonzalez, on the other hand, would be my number one choice for this off-season. I would be OK going all out for him. I would be very happy with Yonder, Francisco/Frazier, Wood and Volquez for Gonzalez and a complimentary piece. That may be overpaying, but that's how much I like Gio.
