3 Women, missing as long as 10 years, recovered from Cleveland

http://gawker.com/3-women-missing-fo...-hom-493221621

Sickening what happened to these women. Thank god they made it out okay.

Also be sure to check out the incredible story of Charles Ramsey, the man who found them,

Incredible. It is amazing they made it out alive, I'm sure they probably lost hope a long time ago. Going to be tough to make a life with everything they have been through but hopefully they will find a way.

Woah, that is an astounding scenario and one that makes you feel sick to your stomach. Just think all over the world there has to be this kind of thing happening. Pray for the victims.

This is such a great statement. Charles Ramsey rocks.

The crazy thing is that the neighborhood has held vigils for the two girls who disappeared as teens every year since their disappearances and they were found alive. I feel particularly sad for Michelle Knight. She was kidnapped at age 20 and had been held the longest, yet no one other than her mother was really looking for her. I also feel like the media coverage now is giving her short shrift. The Cleveland news channels are going on and on about Amber Berry and Gina DeJesus and it seems like Michelle Knight is kind of an afterthought.

Here's his interview he gave Anderson Cooper. Really cool guy who is just a regular guy like you and me. When asked about a reward he said give to the girl. I have a job and getting a paycheck. He said it in all sincerity too.

I don't think there's an insincere bone in that man's body. What an awesome guy.

And it's great that the media can focus on him and not be hounding the women for interviews and information.

I was just reading some about Knight. Really sad. One cousin called her mentally challenged. Which leads you to think she may be autistic or something similar. She probably never had the proper attention and her special needs most likely were neglected by her family. Sounds as though her family is dysfunctional at best. One brother CNN interviewed said he never knew his sister was missing. That his mother never told him anything. Wow! I feel really bad for her. She may never get over this and lead any semblance of a normal life.

It's so odd that they were kidnapped from the same street at different times.

"The three women disappeared from the same Cleveland street -- Lorain Avenue -- between 2002 and 2004. Police say they were held just three miles from where they disappeared."

I hope they keep interviewing Charles Ramsey and keep the attention away from the women for a little bit longer. Eventually they will be hounded by questions (probably as this gets closer to going to court). I loved the end of that Anderson Cooper interview.

I've been having some rather violent thoughts about what I'd like to see happen to the scumbags who did this, but I'm figuring that the other inmates wherever they end up won't make things easy on them.

Lets just hope they get put in with the regular inmates and not their own cells in isolation 24 hours a day
