I suppose this is as good a place as any for Phipps if he is to win, but I'm not convinced of his value at the next level yet. His tools give him some merit, but he's no Sappelt. Sappelt had a reliably good hit tool, above average defense in CF, and a bit of pop as well (masked by a small sample size in the majors and an oblique injury this season). The one thing Phipps does have going for him as well is a very strong arm; it'll help him play any position in the outfield capably and gives him more value as a 4th or 5th outfielder. He's got quite a low ceiling.

Still going with Crabbe without Garrett support. Two plus pitches, possible room for a third, and impressive stats in the league that he was in.

I agree that if Phipps has a three or even two vote margin he should win this poll without a run-off.
