Question about roster/lineup rules
This may sound crazy but is it possible for Dusty Baker to start Fred Lewis or Jonny Gomes in left field on opening day 2012? I know neither are on the roster but are there any regulations or loopholes that would allow him to pencil in either of those players legally, as say "personal invitees"? No, right? He'd be forced to play either Heisey or Frazier and not Fred Lewis/Jonny Gomes, correct?

Cordero didn't even cross my mind. Will Dusty be forced to use Madson to close then? If so, it is going to be a very odd season.

I would much prefer madson closing still. I've got the feeling coco will be a set up man for someone or maybe close for a team like tampa
