It is interesting, but the last line of the article leaves me feeling like the author doesn't know whats going on.

One of the top prospects in baseball and was just part of a blockbuster trade, while having been linked to many blockbuster trades over the past two years as the main piece going the other way. Look at the top prospects lists.... almost all of the international players on it were signed within a few months of them being eligible to sign.
