Nationals shopping John Lannan
http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2012/0...hn-lannan.html
With the signing of Edwin Jackson, Nationals are aggressively shopping Lannan for a position player in return. He lost in arbitration and is set to make $5M this season.

Re: Nationals shopping John Lannan
The Nats need up the middle defense but it would take more than Janish to get Lannan. They would probably take Cozart or Hamilton for him but I wouldn't want to do that deal.

Re: Nationals shopping John Lannan
We have a similiar pitcher to Lannon in Jeff Francis, though Francis is likely better.

Re: Nationals shopping John Lannan
I don't see the Reds as a good fit or a decent trade partner. Not a good use of resources, I think.
