Re: 2012 Pensacola Blue Wahoos OD Roster

That's a pretty solid AA squad.

Power's going to be iffy, but I'm assuming many of these guys end up with some, though not as many as at Bakersfield.
As the resident Tim Crabbe fan, I think he will also be a big part of this rotation in 2012. Let's hope he develops that third pitch.

I have wondered why the Reds have stuck with Partch as a starter this long. His career ERA is 5 and his peripherals aren't particularly good. They must see undeveloped potential, particularly with other starter candidates available.

I could not believe it was the same guy because it seems like he has been around forever, but I guess that is what happens when get signed at 16. Even when you are around forever you are still only 27.

I used to think this guy was a good benchmark for what Juan Duran would turn into. 4 years later I am thinking it is optimistic to think Duran will have a career this "good".

Surprised that no one has mentioned that Corcino is skipping a level.

He sure looked ready for it tonight. Ran through 1-6 of the Reds order, only giving up a Phillips double (that was later tagged out on the bases).

Not saying I'm fully surprised. They obviously did not want him to go to the depths of pitching hell.
