Brackman to start in AAA

The Bats just tweeted: #Bats probable pitchers: Thurs - Jeff Francis, Fri - Brett Tomko, Sat - Sean Gallagher, Sun - Chad Reineke, Mon - Andrew Brackman

I'm a little surprised to see that the Reds will be using Brackman in a starting role this season.

Me too. But they may feel the added innings give him a better chance of harnassing command -- even as an eventual move to the pen remains the plan. He's still very much a work in progress, it seems.
