Francis gave up a run in the fourth and a run in the fifth and the Bats now trail 2-0 with the Mudhens still batting in the bottom of two.
Valaika and Dorn have the two hits for the Bats so far after five turns. |

Francis got out of a dicey experience in the 5th by striking out former Reds' farmhand, Quintin Berry and Brandon Inge.

Nothing comes from the Dragons in the bottom of the 4th. Only one hit for each team through four innings.

Re: Tuesday April 10th, 2012 Minor League updates
Webb pitches a one-two-three sixth and now the Bats will get to try their hand with Matt Hoffman instead of Thad Weber who they could not figure out for the life of them for six innings.

Hoffman with the same success as Weber as he strikes out Dorn and Rhinehart. Janish bumps up his BA to .364 with a single to left. Navarro up.

Some sort of ceremony is delaying the Pensacola start time.
