I figured something like that. Do folks not understand marketing and that we're a wider market than just Ohio? Sheesh.

You would think they do.

I'm not a UK fan, and thought it was a great idea! Oh wait, I get it, nevermind....



There are 22 Reds radio affiliates in Ohio....29 in Kentucky.

Considering the backlash they're getting, I'd say it was marketing gone completely wrong.

You run a major risk of singling out certain elements of a market, especially when you cater to a fanbase largely outside of the state you're in.
