Correct, it was not smart. No reason for it.

Maybe Dusty realized that Jay Bruce, the next hitter, couldn't hit Zito with a ten foot paddle.

Bruce should not be hitting fifth in this game. Bruce perhaps shouldn't have started this game. Have to know your personnel. He cannot touch Zito.

Dusty infuriates me with his lineups. BP should be the leadoff hitter, period.

BP has hardly been the problem. He's had some good AB's and he was the difference maker in last nights game for a long time. He has done just fine. Cozart, Stubbs, Votto, BP has worked pretty well.

Joey Votto bobblehead day is on a Saturday? Oh man it's gonna be packed that day. (May 12.)

Personally, I'd put Votto bobblehead day on a Wednesday or something. Ha.

Not saying BP is "the problem" in the least. Just saying I thought we had established entering this season that his best role was "leadoff hitter" not "cleanup hitter."

He was 4-8 off Zito coming into the game. It appeared he did know his personnel.

No, Jose didn't pitch for about a week. He then pitched last night. He hasn't been overused at all.

Nah, he's talking about the way he throws. I like it though. Arredondo comes with bad intentions. Awkward motion, but that works in his favor. (Until he gets hurt.)

Panda heads to first for a walk on a strike 3 called right down the middle.

Fooled.
