Re: 5/3/12 - Reds vs Cubs

Just saw the video of Castro's HR. A GABP special where it just kept carrying just out of reach of Heisey, but hey, it is what it is. Wish the Reds could hit a couple of them.

That's an amazing statement."

Never let facts get in the way of good rant. I wish Dusty would give it try this season. It can't hurt anymore than what this offense is doing now.

Re: 5/3/12 - Reds vs Cubs

Gameday has Bailey's first 14 pitches of the day as all being 4 seam fastballs. Any idea if that was correct? GABP did not through a 0-2 straight fastball to Castro down the middle of the plate. That was on Homer and whoever called for another fastball there.

Ouch. Just saw the Tweet about Pablo Sandoval's broken hamate bone. Didn't he break the same thing last year or the year before?

Wow, the Reds (or this group of supposed athletes dressed in Reds uniforms) must be in a hurry to catch a plane.

I'm thinking this is Willie Harris'es last stand; if he doesn't produce Walt will jettison him in lieu of Cairo coming off the DL (at least that is my hope).
