Dayton is down 2-0. Daniel Tuttle gave up a 2 run shot to a super prospect, but has been strong since then.

Tim Crabbe is taking his warm up pitches for Pensacola who will be underway in just a minute or two.

Re: Friday May 4, 2012 Minor League Updates

Steve Selsky (CF) misplays a ball up the middle. The ball took a funny hop, but he should have had it. The run probably scores on the play.

Dayton down 3-0, now in the 6th.

Dayton down 4-0 after a solo home run off of reliever Contreras. Louisville is down 3-1 and Durham is still threatening.

And with that single, it is 4-1 Durham over Louisville.

Chris Valaika flies out and Denis Phipps was thrown out at home to end the inning.

Tim Crabbe has fallen apart in Pensacola. Down 6-0. Struggling to throw strikes.

Re: Friday May 4, 2012 Minor League Updates

A three run home run makes it 7-1 Durham against the Bats, though replay is inconclusive to me if it should have been a home run or not as it bounced back on the field. I don't know the ground rules for them. They have a 25 foot wall out there, so the ground rules may be funky.

Re: Friday May 4, 2012 Minor League Updates

They started showing the replay in Durham but quickly turned it off once they realized Louisville was arguing the call. The guy clearly reached over the rail and hit him on the forearm, so said Negs and Dorn.

No. 8 for Donald Lutz, who makes it a point now to do something just about every night. It's 1-0 Bakersfield in the second, with Renken pitching.

Looks like Yorman is gonna have to sink or swim out there in Bakersfield. Right now sink is ahead.
