I guess we can agree to disagree. Forever an optimist I'll hope that what he's giving us in the 2 hole is a sign of things to come.

AFAIC, Billy Hamilton can't step onto the CF grass at GABP soon enough.

I've never seen a player with a more frustrating plate approach.

Who absolutely refuses to use his excellent speed by bunting more than 8-10 times a year.

And who actually chafes at the notion that he should be expected to.

Re: Reds vs. Brewers Wednesday 5/9

Seems like Cueto has had a few of those innings this year and he finds a way to make the pitch he needs.

1. You assume Hamilton can play on this level
2. You assume the Reds will switch him to CF
3. You assume the Reds are wanting Stubbs to bunt and he is not

Re: Reds vs. Brewers Wednesday 5/9

And since I've talked up Stubbs I fully expect a 3 pitch K coming up.

Here's hoping that was JC's bad inning.

1 and 2 I'd bet good money on.

As for 3, it's impossible to know what goes through Baker's grey matter.

Anyone (else) with a brain would want him to, no?

You're not a contrarian by nature, are you, brm7675?
